Upgraded to GOLD!

Over the past 6 years of being in the rapeseed oil business, I have entered Bath Harvest into both the Taste of the West and Great Taste awards on a yearly basis and have been delighted to receive a variety of awards against our whole range of products.  There is however one elusive award I have always wanted to win – a GOLD for our original rapeseed oil! The original oil is the backbone of our whole range and to win a GOLD would effectively prove our range is of an extremely high standard.  This year I was of course pleased to hear we won a Silver for the original but this has happened before!  A couple of months on and I was over the moon to receive a phone call from Taste of the West just this week with the good news that after a review of the judges feedback, our original rapeseed oil was to be upgraded from Silver to a GOLD!!  The feedback was so positive and complimentary that there was no reason why Gold should not have been awarded.  Have a read of some of the comments below;

Packaging

Good sized bottle with very attractive labelling and easy to read information.

Aroma

Lovely – very pleasant, nutty aroma.

Appearance

A beautiful colour; a wonderful, smooth, clear oil.

Texture

Just right – with a great mouthfeel.

Taste

Nutty, fresh taste which fully captures the rapeseed flavour.  Delicious.
